Jazz at Two with The Billy Marcus Trio at Unitarian Universalist Church, February 24

The Jazz Club of Sarasota continues its weekly Jazz at Two concert series with acclaimed pianist Billy Marcus heading the Billy Marcus Trio. Marcus, a member of the South Florida Jazz Hall of Fame, rounds out his trio with Don Mopsick on bass and Stephen Bucholtz on drums.

The popular Jazz at Two concerts present renowned musicians, some with international reputations, in a highly affordable series of Friday afternoon performances.

The Jazz Club of Sarasota, founded in 1980, is dedicated to preserving, promoting and presenting jazz, America’s original musical art form. The Club has provided over 50 jazz-related events annually for 37 years. Chief among them is the highly respected Sarasota Jazz Festival, with the 37th Festival set for March 5-11, 2017. In addition to producing numerous jazz events, the Club also operates an active scholarship program for aspiring young jazz musicians.
