USF CyberCamp 2017in Tampa, July 17 – 21

July 17 – July 21, 2017

This one-week, hands-on experience on the USF Tampa campus will introduce up to 25students in grades 9-12 to the world of computer security. Campers will learn to code, work with industry professionals, and learn how to secure a network by planning and conducting hacking attacks on a simulated company. The camp will also include tours of campus facilities and hands-on experience with a variety of technologies. The program, supported by the Florida Center for Cybersecurity, the USF College of Education will be facilitated by Bay area educators and college students from USF Whitehatters Computer Security Club (WCSC). One session will be offered in July. The session will run Monday, July 17 through Friday, July 21, 9 AM to 3 PM. Lunch will be provided on campus. Please note, this is a commnter camp – all attendees must be dropped off and picked up each day at the USF Tampa campus.
